Fragments of Suspended Elegance
Fragmentos de Elegância Suspensa
Acrylic palette knife painting150 × 84 cmHeight × width · canvas
In this work, I sought to capture the timeless beauty of an elegant woman in a dress that seems to float on an imaginary pastel background. I wanted to convey a sense of suspension, as if time had stopped, through a style that blends figurative and abstract, vertical lines and geometric fragments. I used impasto to create texture and give depth to the gaze.
