Lisbon – Between Hills and Silences
Lisboa – Entre Colinas e Silêncios
In this work I sought to observe Lisbon through its inner quietness. I was inspired by the hills and the spaces between the city and the sky, where noise slows down and time feels suspended. I wanted to convey a Lisbon that is felt rather than described. I use a semi-figurative, semi-abstract style to fragment the gaze, with lines and impasto creating texture and turning the landscape into memory, almost silence.
