In this diptych, I sought to explore Lisbon as a space of continuity and pause. Inspired by the city’s hills, I focused on the intervals between form, light and silence. I wanted to convey the idea that the landscape is built from what we see and what remains suspended. My semi-figurative, semi-abstract style suggests the city, while lines and impasto add texture and rhythm across both canvases.
