In this work, I sought to revisit Alfama through a lens of memory and light, inspired by the sensitivity of Roque Gameiro. I wanted to convey the charm of its ancient streets and the life that still echoes there, through my semi-figurative, semi-abstract style, using impasto, vertical lines, and geometric shapes suggesting fragments of time.
