In this painting, I sought to capture the sweetness and strength of a silent gaze. The girl holds a red flower, but she is the one observing us. I wanted to convey that invisible moment of encounter between the viewer and the viewed. The semi-figurative, semi-abstract style, with lines and impasto texture, invites contemplation and the mystery of feeling.
