In this piece, I sought to capture the suspended moment between contemplation and the dive — that instant when the girl, with her yellow float, faces the sea as if searching for answers. I wanted to convey a feeling of stillness, of silence before action. My style blends figurative and abstract elements, with lines and shapes that suggest memory, time, and emotion. I use impasto to create texture and physical presence on the canvas.
