Geometry of Lightness

In this work, I sought to capture the moment when the body defies weight and becomes light. I chose a ballerina on pointe, arms raised, in a dreamlike setting to convey resilience, balance, and aspiration. My semi-figurative, semi-abstract style, with vertical lines and geometric fragmentation, suggests movement and elevation. I use impasto to create physical texture and relief, giving presence and vibration to lightness.
