Between footsteps and tides of light
Entre passos e marés de luz
In this painting I sought to capture a simple yet deeply human moment: a mother walking toward the sea while holding the hands of her two children. I wanted to explore the quiet connection between protection, childhood and the horizon. I chose a style between figurative and abstract, with lines and geometric fragments suggesting movement and memory. Using impasto, I created texture and light to invite the viewer to feel the rhythm of footsteps and tides.
